Who we are

What we collect

If you fill in our contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and whatever you write in your message, including any pricing estimate you choose to send.

If you go on to become a client, we collect the information needed to prepare your documents, which may include details of your family, your property and your finances.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, to prepare the work you have asked for, and to keep the records we are required to keep. Our lawful bases are your consent when you contact us, performance of a contract once you instruct us, and our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information and we never share it for marketing. We use trusted suppliers to run this website and send our email, and they only process your information on our instructions. We may share information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months. Client files are kept for as long as we are required to keep them, which for Wills and related documents is a long period, because your family may need them many years from now.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Just email us and we will deal with it within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
