Common questions
Do you come out to Hertfordshire homes?
Yes. We visit homes across Hertfordshire, from St Albans and Harpenden to Watford, Hemel Hempstead and the villages in between. There is no extra charge for the visit.
How much does a Will cost in Hertfordshire?
A standard single Will is £175 and standard mirror Wills for a couple are £275. Complex or trust Wills are £295 for one and £499 for a couple.
Can we meet in the evening?
Yes. Evening appointments are available because we know family life is busy, school runs and work take over the day, and evenings are often the only quiet time.
How long does it take?
Most Wills are drafted within a week of our first chat. You then read the draft, tell us about any changes, and we arrange signing.
Do I need a trust in my Will?
Not everyone does. If a trust would genuinely help your family, for example to protect a share of your home, we will explain it in plain English and only include it if it is right for you.
Can you help with Lasting Powers of Attorney?
Yes. Many Hertfordshire clients put LPAs in place at the same time as their Will. One LPA is £199, two are £349, and all four for a couple are £549.
